The study of atmospheric processes and their interrelationships with plant cover and land use is in the hands of scientists appointed to the IFGG from the Alpine Campus (Institute for Meteorology and Climate Research Atmospheric Environmental Research, IMK-IFU). Core topics are the interaction between plant cover and atmosphere, the interactions of land use and climate change, and ecometeorology.
