1.1 Overview
1.1.1 What is this app?
1.1.2 Who is the app's audience?
1.1.3 How is Vegetation Survey organised?
The app is organized into projects, profiles, lookups and plots. To begin a project from scratch you will want to add an empty project in the project and profile view (with one tab for projects and one for profiles). Each project consists of a collection of plot records. When you add a project you need to link it to a profile. Profiles define which plot attributes are asked for if you enter your records. If you don't like the default profile you may wish to create a new one before. Projects as well as profiles can be exported or sent via email.
By tapping on a project in the projects list you enter the plot list view
where you can add plot records. Tapping on plot records brings you to the plot view
with several tabs. Here, you can add your species observations and attributes associated to the plot record (like position and size). Before you can add species you need to load and define lookups for species, cover scales and cover codes. Lookups help to speed up data entry and keep data consistent. Lookups can be edited.

You can navigate using the navigation bar at the bottom or using the menu. Some pages use tabs.
