Inhalt | Objectives: The course aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of the geoecology of food systems and food security globally for the past, present and potential future. A mix of lectures, student exercise and a student project will address both supply and demand issues for food production and its distribution. This includes the management and econ+omics of agricultural systems as well as consumption patterns and human nutritional well-being. Timing: The course is structured around 6 half-day sessions combining lectures and exercises over 3 days, with an additional period of time for personal study and report writing. Dates: 12-16 October 2020. Evaluation: based on a student individual report (based on writing up the exercises with extended answers to the questions posed).
